Install the Nüshu keyboard on Android

Install the APK

Download NushuInput.apk. Check its source and read the Android installation prompts before installing. Open Nüshu Input afterwards.

Enable and select the keyboard

Follow the system steps to enable and select Nüshu. Read the keyboard permission notice and wait for the initial offline setup. Hold Enter to choose the Mandarin pinyin scheme; tap 汉/女 for Nüshu output.

Check candidates and settings

Type nv and tap the candidate with the intended Chinese hint. If another keyboard opens, select Nüshu in the system switcher. For Chinese output check the scheme and 汉/女 mode. This is a trial release; check the project for tested devices and limitations.
