Install Nüshu on macOS

Install the package

Download and open NushuInput.pkg. Follow the installer, then log out and sign in again. The package contains Squirrel, Nüshu schemes, dictionaries and a font.

Add and select the keyboard

Select Squirrel in the input menu. If absent, add it in the system Keyboard input-source settings. Choose 女书·普通话拼音 in the menu or with Ctrl+`. Use Ctrl+Shift+4 if needed to switch to Nüshu output.

Installation and display issues

The trial package is not notarized by Apple. If blocked, check its release source and current project instructions; do not disable system protection. If the keyboard is missing, review the sign-out/sign-in step. For boxes in another app, check its font support.
