Install Nüshu on Windows

Download and install

Download NushuInput-Setup.exe and open it. Confirm administrator permission for the first Weasel installation. The package includes the engine, schemes, dictionary and Noto Sans Nushu font. Installation and first setup work offline.

Activate the input method

Press Win+Space to select Weasel. Choose 女书·普通话拼音 from the scheme menu or with Ctrl+`. If candidates remain Chinese, press Ctrl+Shift+4 to enable Nüshu output.

Test and troubleshoot

Type nv and check the Chinese hint 女 before selecting. If Weasel is missing, check installation and keyboard selection. For Chinese output, check the scheme and mode. Boxes in another app can indicate missing font support. This trial installer is not commercially signed: check the project instructions rather than disabling security protections.
